eMazzanti Start-up Begins in the Shadow of 9/11 Disaster

September 9, 2001, changed everything for the passionate, young IT entrepreneurs. Having started eMazzanti Technologies only two weeks previously, Carl and Jennifer took the PATH train to downtown NYC to visit clients. As it turned out, they ended up visiting ‘disaster’ instead.

Two planes had struck and collapsed the Twin Towers. Carl and Jennifer had to literally scramble for their own lives to get a few blocks away from ground zero. The PATH train they took into the heart of the city was the last one that made safely that day. The next few weeks saw them walk-the-talk when it came to the high level of customer service they claim as the bedrock of their business. They spent nearly 24-hours a day for weeks solving IT problems for affected businesses.
