Grindmaster-Cecilware Upgrades to Newly-Released NOVAtime NT7000 Smart Time Clocks

Diamond Bar, CA (PRWEB) May 06, 2014

NOVAtime Technology, Inc. (http://www.novatime.com), a leading provider of enterprise Time and Attendance / Workforce Management solutions, announced today that Grindmaster-Cecilware has adopted NOVAtimes latest touchscreen time clock, the NT7000, along with the NOVAtime 4000 SaaS system.

A global manufacturer of beverage dispensers and foodservice equipment, Grindmaster-Cecilware has over a century of experience providing the coffee shops, convenience stores, and restaurants of the world with everything from coffee grinders and tea brewers to commercial fryers, ranges, and ovens. The company boasts a rich history of innovation, having introduced the first fully automatic coffee urn in 1963 and the first commercial powdered beverage dispenser in 1994, and it continues this tradition with its recent lines of flavored powder cappuccino machines and digital coffee brewers.

Since 2010, Grindmaster-Cecilware has managed its workforce using the NOVA time 4000 SaaS system, which is a cloud-based solution that enables user-friendly, real-time management of overtime, attendance, leave, and scheduling. For its payroll processing, the company uses ADP, which integrates seamlessly with the NOVAtime 4000 system. As a cloud-based solution, NOVAtime 4000 SaaS provides all the functionality of a traditional licensed solution, but eliminates the IT headaches associated with maintaining licensed software on customer servers.

For the last two years, Grindmaster-Cecilware has used the NOVAtime 4000 SaaS system in conjunction with NT6500 clocks. The NT7000 smart time clocks that the company has chosen to supersede the NT6500 clocks offer many of the same functions, including biometric, proximity badge, HID badge, and key-in punch capabilities. The NT7000 also supports multiple languages (English, Spanish, French, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese) and photo capture of employees upon punch submission.

A 7 inch high resolution color display with touchscreen is the real draw, for many users, of the NT7000. According to Carrie Fletcher, Payroll and Human Resources Manager at Grindmaster-Cecilware, employees appreciate the user-friendly design of the new clock, All employees like NT7000 time clocks optical fingerprint touch pad and the larger screen. The clocks state-of-the-art Lumidigm fingerprint reader ensures that biometric data can be captured in even the most challenging environmental conditions.

With the adoption of the NT7000 smart time clocks, Grindmaster-Cecilware has enjoyed more accurate timekeeping, since all data comes from one reliable sourcethe clocksand not from paper timesheets or, worse yet, employees memories. Ms. Fletcher notes, Supervisors benefit from the ability to monitor employee clock-in times in real-time. Other supervisor capabilities that the clocks offer include employee lockouts, private messaging, and projection of training videos.

Of the services and support that Grindmaster-Cecilware has received from Cincinnati Time Systems (http://cincinnatitime.com/), one of NOVAtimes prestigious Summit Partners, Ms. Fletcher is unequivocal in her enthusiasm, When we have needed technical supportwhich is very rarethe response time has been swift and the support team has been knowledgeable. Based out of Ohio, Cincinnati Time Systems was recognized in 2013 as the NOVAtime partner with the highest level of customer satisfaction and customer care.

NOVAtime is proud to offer cutting-edge technology to Grindmaster-Cecilware. Gil Sidhom, Vice President of Research and Development at NOVAtime, explains, The NT7000 was designed for todays cloud-computing environment, and it meets the demand for heightened security and accuracy that such an environment creates. NOVAtime is looking forward to a lasting relationship with Grindmaster-Cecilware and the opportunity to provide this leader in the manufacturing industry with solutions that rise to the challenges of a quickly changing world.

North & South America Smart Grid Market 2020 Forecasts in a New Research Report at MarketOptimizer.org

Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) January 29, 2014

The report provides information on key equipment such as microgrids, synchrophasors, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), and renewable energy in some of the major countries in the region, along with regional-level analysis for each type of equipment. It also covers key market drivers and restraints and upcoming technologies.

Due to expected infrastructure development prior to the FIFA World Cup, Brazils smart meter market revenue will increase more than tenfold, from $ 36m in 2013 to $ 432m by 2020, at an impressive Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 43.

Complete report available at http://www.marketoptimizer.org/smart-grid-market-in-north-and-south-america-key-issues-regulations-current-market-outlook-and-key-equipment-market-size-to-2020.html .

According to the companys latest report Smart Grid Market in North and South America Key Issues, Regulations, Current Market Outlook and Key Equipment Market Size to 2020, Brazil is leading the way in terms of smart grid investment and development in South America. The main market drivers are the need to upgrade grid reliability and power outages, as well as to improve the integration of renewable energy generation into the system, reducing per-capita power consumption.

Additionally, with power theft reaching as high as 20% in some Brazilian regions, local utilities are currently pursuing investments in smart meters, as the technology provides a simpler way for companies to track such activity.

Brazils National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL) was expected to mandate the roll-out of smart meters in the country to achieve its objective of better energy efficiency. However, the agency simply defined a set of rules and norms, which indirectly requires the roll-out of smart meters by utilities instead.

Furthermore, ANEEL has introduced a policy requiring utilities to supply precise geographic information regarding the location of cables, transformers and customer metering points. It is also planning to implement a net metering system, which would enable customers to connect their micro-generation system to the Brazilian power grid with ease.

However, major market restraints remain in the region, such as bureaucracy and non-transparency, which could harm the protection of investor interest and the enforcement of contracts, according to GlobalData.

This report provides analysis of the North and South American smart grid markets. It also provides information on key equipment such as microgrids, synchrophasors, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), and renewable energy in some of the major countries in the region, along with regional-level analysis for each type of equipment.

LeadMaster ‘Smart Queues’ bring Intelligence to Call Centers & Inside Sales

Roswell, GA (PRWEB) July 31, 2013

LeadMaster, a leader in Sales and Marketing Automation solutions announces ‘Smart Queues’, the latest enhancement to their Cloud-Based CRM solution. Smart Queues provide the ability to organize prospects and customer call records from different sources and automatically serve them up to the sales team in prioritized order. Once a caller enters a pre-defined Smart Queue the system intelligently determines which call records will have the highest priority (score) and begins to deliver them to the agent.

For most business, raw prospects and customer inquiries can come from a variety of sources. The challenge is to ensure higher priority inquiries are worked first. Smart Queues allow management to pre-define how leads are scored, keeping the guesswork out of the hands of the call team.

For example, suppose leads are coming from three sources: the companys website, Google advertising and pre-qualified purchased leads. A Smart Queue can be setup so that pre-qualified leads will always be delivered first and then a blend of website and advertising leads are delivered when there are no pre-qualified leads available.

For outbound calling teams The Smart Queue will be especially effective for improving productivity.

Two Cooperative Utilities Deploying EnergyHubs Mercury Smart Thermostat Platform This Summer

Brooklyn, NY (PRWEB) July 17, 2012

EnergyHub, Inc. today announced that Gibson Electric Membership Corporation and Mid-South Synergy, two cooperative utilities, will deploy EnergyHubs Mercury smart thermostat platform beginning this summer.

The Mercury smart thermostat platform gives Gibson EMC (located in western Tennessee) and Mid-South Synergy (located in eastern Texas) the ability to manage peak residential heating and cooling loads by adjusting customers thermostats to use less energy during times of high demand. The utilities customers can adjust and program their thermostats from anywhere through EnergyHubs web and mobile apps, and they receive real-time feedback on the cost impacts of their selections.

We chose the Mercury platform because of the opportunity it provides our member-owners to better understand and manage their home heating and cooling energy usage while helping Gibson EMC reduce system peak demand, said Charles Phillips, Vice President of Engineering and IT at Gibson Electric Membership Corporation. Because the customer directly benefits from using the Mercury platform, it will be easier for GEMC to grow the size of our load control program, while also keeping our members motivated to use their thermostats to save money.

For over 70 years, Mid-South Synergy has focused on providing quality service to our members at a reasonable price, said Daniel Bethapudi, Chief Financial Officer at Mid-South Synergy. We’re excited to work with EnergyHub to deploy the Mercury platform. Mercury will help reduce Mid-South’s peak load while providing our members with thermostat remote control and energy efficiency benefits, providing a great combination of cost-effective benefits to the cooperative.

Both cooperatives will begin deploying Mercury-connected thermostats and managing peak-time load this summer. Participating co-op members will receive wireless thermostats and access to web and mobile (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Android) applications for programming their thermostats and optimizing their air conditioning and heating settings. Employees of the cooperatives will use the Mercury cloud-hosted demand response management system (DRMS) to manage the thermostat program, execute direct load control events, and monitor program performance.

We are thrilled to be working with Gibson EMC and Mid-South Synergy to bring energy-saving wireless thermostat technology to these co-ops and their members, said Matt Johnson, Director of Business Development at EnergyHub. The Mercury smart thermostat platform and its DRMS are helping these co-ops lower their operating costs, which allows them to pass savings along to their member-owners. Were excited to add these two co-ops to the over 100,000 Mercury-compatible thermostats already in the market, and we look forward to working with them to grow their programs in the future, Johnson said.

Heating and cooling costs make up nearly half of the average annual energy bill, which is $ 2,200 for a U.S. single-family home. Research shows that real-time feedback and control using products like the web and mobile applications for the EnergyHubs Mercury smart thermostat platform can help consumers save up to 20 percent on their monthly energy bills.

About EnergyHub

EnergyHub, Inc. develops software and hardware solutions that help consumers, utilities, and service providers reduce energy consumption and save money. EnergyHub solutions allow homeowners to understand and control energy use in real time and encourage people to take actionable steps to reduce consumption. Utilities also benefit from EnergyHub technology as it enables them to identify and manage peak loads, implement effective demand response programs, and improve operating efficiency.
