Cisco Partner and Managed IT Service Provider Brian Gifford & Associates Replaces Autotask With PROMYS PSA Business Automation Software to Support Aggressive Growth Plans

Toronto, Ontario (PRWEB) June 05, 2014

Promys, a leader in enterprise professional services automation software for the IT Solutions provider industry, announced that it has been awarded a contract by Brian Gifford & Associates, a quickly growing Reno Nevada based IT Solution provider specializing in Managed IT Services, Professional Services, Hardware & Software Sales and Cloud Computing. Promys PSA software was selected in order to help Brian Gifford & Associates continue to scale by providing better visibility, accountability and audit trails for the business.

Autotask was a very good solution for us over the last four years, but as we’ve grown and the business has become more complex we’ve been facing more and more sales cycle management and procurement challenges. Our technical team splits time between our various lines of business, which has made accurate financial performance reporting difficult, which is compromising my ability to make well informed growth decisions,” said Brian Gifford, CEO of Gifford Associates.

“I saw several very strong reviews of PROMYS from larger IT partners, and it’s clear that PROMYS was designed as ‘Enterprise Business software’ for more complex Professional Services organizations. In addition to the traditional PSA functionality, PROMYS is very strong in areas such as forecasting/planning, real-time project costing, equipment handling, and reporting/analytics, which is critical for our continued growth,” continued Brian.

We’ve been very successful because of our dedicated group of incredibly talented employees. What sets our employees apart from the competition is their ability to understand complex technology and communicate in a simple straight forward manner. Which is why we’re consistently recognized by clients for our ability to exceed expectations. The new HTML5 device independent version of the PROMYS business software is going to allow our employees to respond even more quickly and accurately during customer interactions, whether they’re in the office or in the field, which is exactly the kind of competitive advantage we want to leverage, added Brian.

John Breakey, founder and former CEO of Unis Lumin, a Cisco Gold Partner and current CEO of Promys agrees, The business software that got you to 10 employees, is not necessarily the solution that’s going to get you to 25, 50 or 100 employees. At some point you need to review your operational infrastructure to make sure it can take you to that next level. The Promys enterprise business software for Professional Service organizations was specifically designed for companies with multiple lines of business, where the senior management team wants full visibility into all operational aspects of the business, as well having real-time access to information that will drive future growth decisions.

Promys also offers useful tools that help businesses determine the success of their existing processes to help them manage labor utilization, like their new Labor Utilization Quick Start Guide for service managers who want to maximize services profitability and get labor utilization under control.

About Promys

Promys is currently used by some of the largest IT Solution providers in North America, the UK and Australia. PROMYS was originally developed for a Cisco Gold/Master partner in 1998 to address the fundamental problem that IT solution providers face – how to tie professional services together with complex equipment solution delivery and multi-layered post sales support.

In 2003, Promys was spun off as its own corporate entity. Promys quickly added customers in the IT solution provider, systems integrator and managed services marketplace, including one of the largest and most recognized technology solution providers in the world.

SoftLayer Replaces Budgeting Software with Alight Planning, Achieves Significant ROI

El Dorado Hills, CA (PRWEB) June 27, 2012

Alight Planning, developers of the first solution to make driver-based planning easy, today announced SoftLayer has achieved significant benefits by replacing their legacy budgeting and planning software with the Alight Planning solution. The full story was featured in a webinar earlier this month with the Institute of Management Accountants entitled: Case Study: Measuring the ROI of Planning Software.

Rand Heer, Alight Planning CEO, comments on the webinar, We were pleased to have over 800 finance professionals attend the IMA webinar earlier this month. The SoftLayer success story is generating a lot of buzz in the industry and third-party analyst firms are expressing interest in developing an in-depth case study that would verify the ROI which is estimated at 50x.

SoftLayer is the global cloud infrastructure platform that operates 13 data centers in the US. Given the rapid growth in this sector, the annual budgeting process was insufficient; SoftLayer took a dynamic, continuous approach to planning throughout the year. SoftLayer first replaced spreadsheets with Centages Budget Maestro software package. In 2009, the finance team began a search to replace Centage with a solution that would enable a more intuitive and integrated driver-based planning model and rapid scenario analysis in order to support the rapid growth.

While Centage was a step up compared to planning in spreadsheets, we could not create an integrated driver-based model, said Gary Kinman, Vice President of Finance and Analytics at SoftLayer, Since sales units were stored in an isolated module, sales units could not be used to drive capital expenses or operations headcount. Of course, we could drive revenue in Centage with sales units, but with Alight Planning, our driver-based model is now fully integrated. Analysis to adjust volume or pricing of a certain product that required 30 minutes in Centage was taking 3 minutes in Alight Planning. Our ability to quickly perform analysis on-the-fly with Alight Planning is leading to better decisions. We now have a better feel for the direction to take as a company.

The ROI Calculator developed earlier this year is generating some interesting conclusions about the state of budgeting and planning software, said Ben Lamorte of Alight Planning. Gary and I reflected on life before and after Alight Planning leading to a documented efficiency savings of about $ 100,000 over the last three years associated with moving to Alight Planning. The $ 100,000 is a result of doing the same things SoftLayer did with Centage, but doing them faster with integrated driver-based panning we call these type 1 benefits. Benefits of over $ 3M were associated with introducing new planning processes that were not even attempted prior to Alight Planning. These type 2 benefits included optimizing cash management and analyzing profitability by location. To our knowledge, SoftLayers implementation of Alight Planning represents the largest ROI documented in the history of mid-market planning software.

Boys & Girls Club of Salem Replaces Stand-Alone Fundraising Systems with DonorCommunity Cloud Computing Solution

Sunrise, FL (PRWEB) August 21, 2012

DonorCommunity, Inc., developers of an innovative cloud computing software platform for fundraising and advocacy, announced today that the Boys & Girls Club of Salem has replaced their DonorPerfect software and 3rd party email marketing tool with DonorCommunity’s fully-integrated suite of applications for fundraising, website content management, online marketing, social networking, personal fundraising, online donations and event management. Within one week of going live, the nonprofit realized a 100% return on its DonorCommunity investment by launching its first-ever personal fundraising campaign.

“The word of mouth about DonorCommunity from other Boys & Girls Clubs was overwhelmingly positive, but we were hesitant to consider a new fundraising infrastructure investment without a solid business case,” said Michael Centor, Boys & Girls Club of Salem Executive Director. “We began by identifying opportunities for significant administrative cost reductions via DonorCommunity’s free hosting service and the improved efficiencies afforded by its event management, Website content management and online donation applications. But the real win for us was the prospect of adding online campaigns to our fundraising mix. Within a week of going live, we generated over $ 15,000 through our first-ever personal fundraising campaign to raise money for a new gym floor. These incredible results speak for themselves. DonorCommunity is a ‘must-have’ solution for online fundraising and advocacy.”

“Like other clubs, the Boys & Girls Club of Salem was contending with a collection of stand-alone applications that imposed unacceptable restrictions on its ability to raise funds and serve constituents,” said David Blyer, DonorCommunity founder and CEO. “Today, all of its information about program participants, volunteers, donors and stakeholders is consolidated and instantly available for personalized communications, event planning and online campaigns. We look forward to providing these same benefits to Boys & Girls Clubs worldwide.”
