LV= increases top line through innovative approach to marketing and media optimization

London, UK (PRWEB UK) 4 July 2014

LV= (Liverpool Victoria), one of the UKs leading insurance and financial services providers, is expecting a double digit increase in annual sales of its 50+ life insurance product after optimizing its media budget.

Previously LV= had monitored sales attribution on a linear, channel-by-channel basis, which often resulted in a sale being attributed to the last media channel that touched a new customer when in reality a customer experienced multiple touch-points across multiple channels during the buying journey. Using BearingPoints marketing and media optimization solution LV= was able to see that this linear attribution approach created misalignment of its marketing budget across above the line and direct response marketing channels, and for the first time to truly see where its marketing investment had most impact.

Geoff Bates, Head of Marketing Analytics, LV= Life, said: We selected BearingPoint as our analytics partner because of their strong industry and marketing expertise, and their advanced HyperCube tool which we believe will provide LV= with a unique competitive advantage. Not only do we have a better understanding of the impact of spend across channels on our customers, we now also have an integrated process to plan our spend by working across all our internal teams and media agencies.

BearingPoints marketing and media optimization solution is powered by HyperCube, part of a new breed of data analytics tools using machine learning and data mining algorithms that go far beyond the capabilities of traditional statistics. Combining this unique analytics solution with BearingPoints expertise in the insurance industry the project team was able to carry out an in-depth analysis of more than 4,000 variables from LV=s internal systems and external data providers to define the optimum way to allocate marketing investment within and across channels. For example, specific channel analysis of direct mail campaigns revealed that LV= could achieve better efficiency by targeting prospects that HyperCube identified as having a higher propensity to buy. Acting on these findings resulted in saving 57% of the mailing costs.

Whats special about HyperCube is that it analyses all available data a kind of big data analytics tool for marketing without the need for hypotheses which typically cause traditional analytics to miss the biggest opportunities. We identify easy to understand business rules that our clients can implement for quick results. We are pleased to have won LV= as our customer, signing up not only for our marketing analytics service but also licensing our software, which demonstrates the confidence the LV= team has in our solution, added Andreas Rindler, Partner at BearingPoint and responsible for marketing and media optimization in the financial services industry.

That means reduced operational and capital costs for our customers with always new and improved features and no additional cost.

Companies can relinquish the costs associated with expensive premise-based PBX, automatic call distribution (ACD) and predictive dialer systems, which will lower necessary investments in capital, licensing, support staff and infrastructure. In addition, the AireContact Cloud Hosted Contact Center solution leverages AireSprings robust and geographically redundant network with automatic failover for disaster recovery and maximum up-time.

eMazzanti Provides Business Hot Line For Java Security Threat Fix

Hoboken, New Jersey and New York City, NY (PRWEB) January 20, 2013

Last Thursday, according to an InfoWorld January 18 article entitled: “Why the Java Threat Rang Every Alarm,” the US Department of Homeland Security called on computer users to disable Java because of concerns about the susceptibility of the Java programming language to cyberattacks. The potential damage could be widespread as there are more than 3 billion Java users worldwide. eMazzanti Technologies is providing a Java-Threat Hotline for businesses that would like to disable Java or install the recent software security patch from Oracle, the owner of Java. The hotline is for businesses-only: 1-201-360-4400

While there are Internet tips on how to unplug Java for each brand of browser and how to install the security patch, most businesses will want to make sure specific procedures are followed to avoid causing network wide problems, said Carl Mazzanti, chief executive officer, eMazzanti Technologies. eMazzanti has created a free Java-Threat Hotline to quickly evaluate what steps a small business should take to protect itself.

Whats the Problem?

Java is a programming language and computing platform at the heart programs including utilities, games, and business applications. Java runs on more than 850 million personal computers worldwide, and on billions of devices worldwide, including mobile and TV devices. Further, it is required by some Web sites that use it to run interactive games and applications.

The Java vulnerability appears to operate with all popular web browsers including IE9, Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.

Cyber crooks are attacking a previously undiscovered security hole in Java 7 that can be used to seize control of a computer if a user visits a compromised or malicious web site, said Mazzanti. Businesses need to get the right fix in order to avoid trouble.

Even if a business is using Java 6, there are some conflicting reports that this vulnerability existed in earlier versions of Java that may go back several years. Though Oracle tried to fix this issue in a previous update, it appears it did not address the vulnerability completely.

The vulnerability is accessed through exploit packs which are crimeware tools being sold on the black market. The tools are made so they secretly integrate into web sites where unknowing visitors with vulnerable or outdated browser plugins like Java can silently install malware on the users PC.

About eMazzanti Technologies

With a company name that sounds more like a purebred, high-performance sports car than a IT support and consulting firm, eMazzanti Technologies is all about delivering powerful solutions in a variety of Outsourced IT services, such as cloud computing, managed printing services, PCI DSS compliance, computer network management, network troubleshooting, business continuity and disaster recovery, green computing, mobile workforce technology, information security, cloud computing, cloud computing services, and business information optimization in the most efficient manner possible. The Hoboken, N.J., firm is located in one of the most densely populated – and competitive – regions in the U.S. It provides business technology consulting services for companies ranging from home offices to multinational corporations in the New York metropolitan area, the United States and throughout the world. eMazzanti Technologies is Microsoft’s 2012 Partner of the Year for the third year, WatchGuard’s Partner of the Year for three years running and made the Inc. 5000 for the third year in a row. SolveForce Expands its Mississippi MPLS Business Services, Metro Ethernet Providers, VoIP Phone Service, T1 Line and T3 Services in MS

Jackson, Mississippi (PRWEB) December 30, 2012

Business internet services are vital for the seamless operation of modern enterprises. SolveForce.com, LLC launched its nationwide Mississippi point to point lines and metropolitan Mississippi business internet services; as it also announced the local Mississippi roll out of its MPLS availability, DSL, T1 Line and T3 Line, and Voice over IP (VoIP) services.

Many Mississippians are inherently equipped with skills for their thriving manufacturing industries. SolveForce is assisting these businesses to find reliable, efficient and affordable communications solutions that are complementary to these skills, the marketing representative of SolveForce stated. SolveForce recognizes that business establishments in Mississippi, especially with its manufacturing and aviation industries, have an inadvertent need for high-speed Ethernet Internet Network connections specifically if they operate in populous cities.

SolveForce provides Gigabit Ethernet and Satellite Internet to Jackson at cost effective rates. Internet services such as these afford businesses with blazing seamless features including VoIP that enable them to interact with a broader market base. Companies can benefit from satellite internet primarily because of its reach it allows businesses to interact with even the most geographically isolated customers, affirmed SolveForces representative.

A virtual private network (VPN) operates with an unlimited Bandwidth that can tie corporate headquarters located in Gulfport MS to its branches in other states. VPN enables employees to securely exchange files and hold video conferences through a reliable connection servicing their company exclusively.

Hattiesburg Mississippi has enterprises that can make use of VPLS technology. This is an additional feature to Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) that allows users to transfer their data without any delays through a multipoint to multipoint network.

Dark Fiber Service is also an option for larger enterprise businesses that require much higher Bandwidth connectivity.

Ethernet over Copper and Ethernet over Fiber can be useful technologies in Southaven MS. Ethernet over Copper can be used to sustain internet connectivity in colleges and universities while Ethernet over Fiber can be implemented in hospitals and business facilities. Both systems, albeit with varying media, can carry voice data as well as other types of data. Fiber Internet Network technology can support very high Bandwidth and is best suited for connections that carry heavy data traffic.

WiMAX Internet Service, Fixed Wireless Broadband Internet, and 3G and 4G Broadband usually end up being cheaper options than other Internet services. Companies in MS can save more money with online services, which is a great solution for small businesses.

DSL, Mississippi MPLS and Fast Ethernet services can boost businesses in Biloxi and Meridian. These allow establishments to effectively maintain their internal communications as well as establish online connections with external locations and off-site offices.

Other technology provided in Mississippi are Cloud Computing Services such as Platform as a Service (PaaS), Hosting as a Service (HaaS), Desktop as a Service (DaaS), Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and Ethernet as a Service (EaaS).
