CloudOne Named Finalist for 2013 Startup of the Year

CloudOne (, the world leader in cloud delivery of IBM Software as a Service (SaaS), announced today that it has been named a finalist for the 2013 TechPoint Mira Awards in the category of Startup of the Year.

TechPoint Mira Awards recognize excellence and innovation through the achievement of Indianas outstanding technology industry performers and contributors, and focuses attention on the broader issue of the important role technology plays in Indianas economy. This years finalists criss-cross the marketplace from established corporations and major research universities to fledgling startups, and from creative agencies to cutting edge mobile and emerging technologies.

The winner in each category will be revealed at an energy-infused, black-tie, Oscars-style award ceremony, dinner and afterparty being held Saturday, April 20, at the JW Marriott Indianapolis.

Indianas tech sector and startup communities have grown and evolved into powerful economic forces that extend well beyond our state borders, and they are drawing national attention ranging from IPOs and acquisitions to a recent White House visit, said Mike Langellier, president and CEO of TechPoint. The Mira Awards celebrate these achievements and in doing so have helped past recipients in material ways, such as delivering $ 1 million in new revenue and opening the door to new Fortune 500 clients.

The entire CloudOne team shares in the pride of this recognition, said John McDonald, Chief Executive Officer of CloudOne. Weve worked hard to build a strong business in the cloud computing space, and are proud to say that Indiana is our home. Our finalist status shows that our hard work has been recognized by the local technology business community.
